Creamier wines with balanced fruit, alcohol, acidity, and body. The "yummy" section.
This wine exhibits a pale straw color with a hint of emerald green and a classic Chardonnay nose filled with pear, honeysuckle, citrus zest, and a touch of flint. Its supple and dense mouthfeel is complemented by lively acidity, featuring fresh pear, citrus, and evolving into tropical papaya notes with subtle hints of oak and toffee. The wine was fermented in French oak barrels, aged for 11 months, and is ready to enjoy now but promises further development if properly stored, potentially evolving for a decade or more.
About The Varietal
Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.
Enjoy with gamey meats, cream sauces, eggplant parmesan or hard, low acid cheeses.
