The texture is rich, but there is enough acidity to keep the wine balanced through the pleasantly lingering finish. The grapes come from an exchange with a grower who has a parcel in Charmes Dessous. The reductive handling and limited use. of new oak help make this a sleek, stylish wine, even in a hot year like 2022."

Alvina Pernot, granddaughter of Paul Pernot, is a young vigneron born and raised in Puligny-Montrachet. She grew up close to the family estate, as her father and uncle managed the family domaine throughout her childhood.
