Warmer growing regions, fully ripened grapes, extended barrel-aging add to the wine’s body
Handpicked grapes were gently pressed before seeing French oak barrel and lees aging. The result is a rich palate exhibiting notes of citrus, green apple and stone fruit complimented by vanilla, oak spice and a creamy finish. The balance between fruit and oak influence is a hallmark of Willamette Valley Chardonnay and makes for a delicious pairing with creamy pasta or chicken dishes.
About The Varietal
Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.
Enjoy with roasted veggies with a bit of cheese or dairy! Creamed spinach, broccoli cheddar soup, or a loaded baked potato are our favs!
