This organically-farmed Chenin comes from Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma. It is fermented with native yeast and aged in used oak barrels. Fresh aromas of toasted almond, bread, and beeswax give way to rich stone fruit on the palate. The creamy mouthfeel is balanced out with racy acidity, which makes this wine delicious to drink on its own or with seafood dishes.
About The Varietal
Chenin Blanc, a flexible white wine grape type, has a history of cultivation in France for almost 1300 years. It is predominantly linked with France's Loire Valley but also produces some of South Africa's finest white wines
Enjoy with roasted veggies with a bit of cheese or dairy! Creamed spinach, broccoli cheddar soup, or a loaded baked potato are our favs!
