*7R* 2020 Snowden "Dum Spiro Spero" Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley, CA)

It takes serious dedication and knowledge to make such fine wine on what was largely a lost year in the region. Diana Snowden Seysses the winemaker behind Domaine Dujac, is just the person for the job, she also helms her families winery as the third generation in charge. They took on the challenge of producing excellent wine when most others dared not to, and came out on top! Dum Spiro Spero.

Her journey continued in 2003 when she took on the role of enologist at Domaine Dujac in Burgundy and served as a consultant at Domaine de Triennes in Provence. By 2005, Diana assumed the position of head winemaker at her family's estate, Snowden Vineyards, and in 2016, she became the winemaker for Ashes & Diamonds. Beyond her winemaking endeavors, she is a recognized authority on climate change's impact on wine, holding a seat on Porto Protocol's global steering committee in her available time.
