Produttori del Barbaresco stands as a testament to collaboration and tradition, uniting 56 growers from the Barbaresco region under a cooperative arrangement. The roots of this endeavor trace back to 1958 when these small-scale growers, guided by the village priest of Barbaresco, joined forces to uphold the quality and distinctiveness of their wines. Despite their cooperative approach, each family maintains ownership of their individual vineyard plots. Most years, these vineyards contribute to the creation of either Barbaresco or Nebbiolo bottlings, while exceptional vintages may yield one or more of nine single-vineyard expressions. These wines are a true reflection of their origins, with each vineyard and grower meticulously acknowledged, making them truly exceptional and noteworthy.
