    Tastes like...Showing aromas of tart strawberry, firm peach, lemon, key lime, and a hint of fresh mint, this wine is unbelievably fresh due to partial carbonic maceration and zippy, tangy acidity! Break out the spicy food, soft cheeses, or your favorite chocolates!

    The story...The Stolpman Family is known for their philanthropy surrounding immigration efforts. They started the La Cuadrilla program which seeks to provide stability to their farmers by offering full time and year-round jobs, along with year-end and hourly bonuses. All of this is supported by the revenue obtained from the sales of their line of “La Cuadrilla” wines.

    The story… Moe Momtazi was born and raised in Tehran, before fleeing as a refugee in 1983. In 1997, Moe and his winemaker wife, Flora, purchased their first vineyards in Oregon where they continue to grow high-quality, biodynamic fruit, and produce world-class Oregon wines.

    The story...Winner of 2012’s “Winemaker to Watch” from the San Francisco Chronicle, Theresa Heredia continues to stun with her cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vintage after vintage. The combination of Theresa’s meticulous winemaking with some of the top-quality vineyards in Sonoma has resulted in annual, superlative accolades for Gary Farrell Winery.

    The story...Kita Wines is run by head winemaker, Tara Gomez - who is the first Native American Winemaker to work for her own tribe. In 2010, Tara’s tribe purchased the Camp 4 Vineyard for her to follow her talents and passions in winemaking. She brings her Chumash culture into everything she does at the winery - giving back to the land through organic & sustainable farming.

    With another year of winemaking under our belt, we truly crafted the Pinot Noir of our Russian River dreams with the 2022 Cohort 2 vintage. The bright garnet color of the wine is so engaging, and the expressive nose draws you in with bright raspberry, wild strawberry and fresh tea leaf undertones. On the palate, this wine is just plain yummy. 

    The wine weighs in at a 3R on the Progressive Scale, meaning it has a little roundness thanks to 10 months of aging in French Oak. Beautiful acid from front to back makes this a fantastic food pairing wine. This year's Pinot Noir is youthful, carefree and absolutely delicious. Pair it with absolutely everything from salmon, pork and duck (with a cherry sauce - yes, please!) to stooping it with friends on Halloween.

    Tastes like… Notes of green apple, pineapple, mango, and crisp, bright acid.

    The story… Skrlet, a rare and unique Croatian varietal, was nearly extinct in the late 20th century. However, thanks to the efforts of traditional Croatian winemakers, we are now seeing a resurgence of this delicious grape! This bottle is perfect for Sauvignon Blanc lovers!

    *5W* 2023 Kumusha Chenin Blanc (Western Cape, SA)

    Tastes like… Pure, fresh, tropical fruit notes of pear, lime, melon, and papaya. This wine is vibrant and bright with a rich mouthfeel.

    The story… The phenomenal Kumusha wines are made by world-renowned sommelier, Tinashe Nyamudoka, whose explosive career in the South African hospitality scene ultimately led him to create his own brand. “Kumusha” is a Shona word meaning “your home,” “your roots,” or “your origin” and is a callback to his home country of Zimbabwe.

    Tastes like… This Chardonnay is an explosion of rich fruit, with pineapple, mango and a touch of citrus leading the way.

    The Story… Meerlust, meaning “pleasure of the sea,” has been producing wines on this estate for eight generations, beginning in 1756. Time-honored and modern techniques are used to create Meerlust’s world-class wines vintage after vintage.

    Tastes like… A delicious wine, featuring flavors of dried strawberry, just-picked stone fruit, and fresh thyme.

    The story… Field Recordings is a love letter from Andrew Jones to the people and places he values most. Their wines “are all about the flavor - with none of the pretension,” meant to be enjoyed amongst friends and good times.

    The story… Skrlet, a rare and unique Croatian varietal, was nearly extinct in the late 20th century. However, thanks to the efforts of traditional Croatian winemakers, we are now seeing a resurgence of this delicious grape! This bottle is perfect for Sauvignon Blanc lovers!

    *5W* 2023 Kumusha Chenin Blanc (Western Cape, SA)

    Tastes like… Pure, fresh, tropical fruit notes of pear, lime, melon, and papaya. This wine is vibrant and bright with a rich mouthfeel.

    The story… The phenomenal Kumusha wines are made by world-renowned sommelier, Tinashe Nyamudoka, whose explosive career in the South African hospitality scene ultimately led him to create his own brand. “Kumusha” is a Shona word meaning “your home,” “your roots,” or “your origin” and is a callback to his home country of Zimbabwe.

    *7W* 2021 Meerlust Chardonnay (Western Cape, SA)

    Tastes like… This Chardonnay is an explosion of rich fruit, with pineapple, mango and a touch of citrus leading the way.

    The Story… Meerlust, meaning “pleasure of the sea,” has been producing wines on this estate for eight generations, beginning in 1756. Time-honored and modern techniques are used to create Meerlust’s world-class wines vintage after vintage.

    The story… Made by two friends from different continents, Union Sacre is “an homage to Alsace, France and beauty’s odd ability to build unexpected bridges.”

    *5W* 2022 Stolpman vineyards "Love you bunches" orange (ballard canyon, CA)

    Tastes like… Lychee, orange blossom, Thai basil, apricot, and grapefruit burst from the glass. The palate greets you with layers of tangerine, tarragon, and firm crunchy peach. If you have ever had the pleasure of trying POG juicy in Hawaii, this is dubbed "POG Juice for Grownups!"

    The story… The Stolpman Family is known for their philanthropy surrounding immigration efforts. They started the La Cuadrilla program which seeks to provide stability to their farmers by offering a full time and year-round jobs, along with year-end and hourly bonuses. All of this is supported by the revenue obtained from the sales of their line of "La Cuadrilla" wines.

    *5W* 2022 Lumen "Esence" Pinot Gris (Santa Barbara, CA)

    Tastes like… Bright & fruity, this Pinot Gris boasts notes of melon, honeydew, peach and strawberry with underlying notes of kimchi, tart kombucha, and lime zest.

    The story… Lumen is committed to sourcing their grapes exclusively from certified sustainable and/or organic vineyards, and practice organic farming in all their vineyards. As part of their dedication to environmental responsibility, Lumen is proudly associated with 1% for the Planet, pledging to donate 1% of all sales to support environmental causes.

    Tastes like… 2018 was a great vintage in Beaujolais! We love this bottle for its intense fruit concentration, showing ripe red fruits, black fruits, light florals, and a distinctive mineral core.

    The story… Labruyere is a well-respected family-owned winery committed to expressing their terroir of each individual vineyard on their property. "Coeur Terroirs" translates to "Heart of Terroirs," as this bottle highlights the Moulin-a-Vent region of Beaujolais, sometimes referred to as the "King of Beaujolais."  

    *5R* 2021 Domaine de la Solitude Chateauneuf-du-pape rouge (Rhone Valley, FR)

    Tastes like…Delivering red fruits and rose petal notes on the nose, this wine has beautiful structure. Bright red fruits fill the palate in perfect balance with structured acidity, cocoa, and a velvety finish.     The story…La Solitude is owned by a family with deep roots in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, dating back to the 15th century. Currently, Florian Lancon, a representative of the eighth generation, oversees the estate, maintaining the family's longstanding values. The estate operates with a philosophy where every element of nature, including wildlife, indigenous plants, the vineyards, and the people, contributes to its harmony. "A great wine is created by the vines, without artifice, and tells the storey of their setting."

Following several generations that upheld the tradition of winemaking for more than 200 years, Baron Edmond de Rothschild purchased the estate in 1973, following his love for wine and dream of owning an intimate, unassuming vineyard to turn into his own, unique masterpiece.

Chateau Lassegue has a history dating back to the 17th century and before a winery, was a charterhouse for Carthusian monks. 2018 was an excellent vintage for Chateau Lassegue, thanks to their 50+-year-old vines and the freshness from the vineyard's limestone soils.

    Tastes like… The nose on this wine has a deeper, more resonant tone, with hints of plum, dark raspberry, and delicate violet undertones. The palate exhibits enhanced fullness and richness for a Pinot Noir, with a smooth and alluring texture.

    The story… The domaine was established by Henri Prudhon who was born and raised as a vigneron in the village of Saint-Aubin since his birth in 1921. He and his wife, Marguerite, combined forces and talents upon their marriage in 1945, putting their small vineyard holdings together to form today’s Domaine Henri Prudhon.

    Tastes like… This big, juicy red blend began as a one-time experiment: blending Cabernet with Zinfandel. Every vintage is made from a different blend, thus the name, Chaos Theory. This wine is ripe and lush with flavors of blackberry, clove, kirsch, cola, and hints of rose, leather and baking spices.  

    The Story…  Brown Estate Vineyards is the first and only Black-owned estate winery in Napa Valley. Run by a group of siblings on the land their parents purchased in the ‘80s, the Brown Estate was officially established in 1996 when they harvested what would become their first bottling of Brown Zinfandel - their flagship wine.

    Tastes like… This gorgeous Pinot is deep red in color, with juicy red fruit and spice on the nose. Tannins are silky and delicate, adding a nice counterpart to the fruit driven palate. Intense aromatics carry through the well balanced finish. A true joy to drink!

    The story… Domaine Faiveley is a prominent Burgundian wine estate based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, France. The Faiveley family has been involved in winemaking for seven generations, and the estate is known for its extensive vineyard holdings in some of the most prestigious appellations in Burgundy, including Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Pommard, and Volnay. They were the first Burgundian wine domaine to convert 120 hectares of vines to organic practices.
