Like New Riff's standard Rye, this release is bottled in bond and non-chill filtered. However, there's a distinct twist to the mash bill for this expression: they've replaced the typical rye grain with Balboa rye, a heritage grain with origins dating back to the 1940s, yet it is quite rare to use in distillation.

As a result of this unique mash, this Rye is truly one of a kind. Waxy and honeyed fruit, reminiscent of a winter spice compote are rich while maintaining a non-sweet character. With a dash of water is a spectrum of black, blue and red fruits, with a spiced finish.
