This small-batch bourbon is named for Jim Beam's grand-nephew, Baker Beam. This particular batch incorporates a special strain of yeast that the Beam family have been using for over 60 years. The nose is bright and fruit-forward with notes of caramel, toffee, dark plum, and spice. The palate is nutty with tangy fruit, vanilla spices, and smooth char. On the finish, the mouthfeel is round, with good length and notes of sweet coffee.
