A gorgeous offering from a truly outstanding vintage. Le Mesnil focuses primarily on Chardonnay grapes because their East-facing vineyards and chalky soil are particularly conducive to growing that varietal. The excellent growing season in 2015 led to this richly textured bottling; notes of green orchard fruit and citrus rind interplay with flavors of toasted nut, butterscotch, and brioche, all held together by a balanced acidity and minerality.
