Techniques like neutral barrels, lees contact, and cement tanks add body and texture
Everyone knows someone who doesn't like Chardonnay. Try this one from the Carnuntum region of Austria! This skin-contact wine has notes of citrus peel, peaches, and apricots. Try for something a little different and a lot of fun.
About The Varietal
Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.
Enjoy with light pasta dishes, Mediterranean cuisine, or your favorite spicy takeout!
About The Producer
Growing up on a family farm managed by her parents and grandparents, Christina actively participated in tasks across the farm. Her early involvement ignited a deep passion for loving the land. Upon joining her parents in the family winery in 2007, Christina dedicated her efforts to discovering the distinctive style of their unique wine-growing region, Carnuntum. Throughout this period, the significance of soil conditions, micro-climates, and natural elements in the vineyards became increasingly important to her practice. Influenced by these environmental factors and the experience of raising their two daughters, she decided to transition to organic production in 2013. The cute bugs on the labels are an ode to all insects inhabiting their vineyards.
