Creamier wines with balanced fruit, alcohol, acidity, and body. The "yummy" section.
Amarone “Case Vencie” gets its name from a vineyard site located in Grezzana - Valpantena. This site is extraordinary with the perfect altitude and exposure to allow grapes to undergo a slow and constant ripening, even during the hardest of vintages. This late harvest allows the winemakers to dry the grapes during a colder period of the year, where they undergo a slower and longer drying process resulting in a rich and supple Amarone della Valpolicella with clean and precise flavors of cinnamon, pepper, tobacco and dried cranberry.
About The Varietal
A Valpolicella Blend consists of the three native red grape varieties cultivated in the Veneto region of Italy. The key players are Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, which is the trio behind Valpolicella DOC wines. These same grapes are the components of the esteemed Amarone wines, where they undergo a partial drying process to produce these rich, supple wines.
Enjoy with red meat, stews, or Indian spices.
