This 2016 Carignan is an incredibly special wine- not only is it the first vintage of the label, it's the first wine the Sanna family produced! But don't let it's fresh face fool you, this wine is polished and complex. It features notes of juicy strawberry and black pepper with a hint of salt at the finish. With such a great debut, we expect to see a lot of wonderful things from this producer in the future!

    About The Varietal

    Carignan

Carignan is a grape variety with dark skin, believed to have originated in Aragon. This grape is prevalent in wines produced along the Mediterranean coast, particularly in northeastern Spain and the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. It is frequently used for blending with other significant regional grape varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre.
