Here we have a splendid illustration of the high potential of Aligoté: precise and firm, yet with a delightful richness and depth. It's a wine that's incredibly well-detailed and displays exceptional intelligence. It originates from a vineyard situated on the "Colline de Vergy" in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, right at the base of the ruins of the Abbaye de Saint-Vivant. The vineyard's soils are a combination of clay and limestone, enriched with marl. Notably, the neighboring vineyard is where the renowned DRC's lesser-known Bourgogne blanc is produced. It's an extraordinary terroir located in one of the most stunningly beautiful areas of Burgundy.
