Codigo sources the best agave they can find, and if they can't get the best, they don't make anything. All of their aged tequilas are done in French oak and used Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from some of the top Napa wineries.
Aged for 18 months in Napa Cabbarrels, this refined, elegant, and expressive anejo is a private recipe, refined over many generations by a distilling family in Aatitan, Mexico. Hints of fruit, mingled with oak, touches of vanilla, and a bit of spice.
