Castellare di Castellina achieved worldwide acclaim with this flagship Super Tuscan, and the 2017 vintage is a must have bottle for any red wine lover! The bouquet offers glimpses of blackberry jam, balsamic and an essence of the Mediterranean coastline. The palate is strong, with savory tannins, rich texture and a subtle finish featuring a return of that balsamic touch.
This particular vintage features a special black label, commemorating the 40th anniversary of its initial release. This is a true collector's gem.
Brown Estate Vineyards is the first Black-Owned estate winery in Napa Valley. The estate is run by siblings Coral, Deneen, and David Brown, on the farm their parents purchased in the 80s.
The Brown family won an award from the Napa County Historical Society for the restoration of these vineyards. And after watching their parents bring this farm to life, the Brown siblings decided to try their hand at winemaking themselves! Brown Estate was officially established in 1996 when they harvested what would become their first bottling of Brown Zinfandel - their flagship wine.
