Made in the highlands of Jalisco, Suerte Tequila is a family-run distillery and agave plantation employing traditional methods of tequila production. Suerte uses naturally filtered water from the spring at Atotonilco El Alto which is renowned for its healing properties. The Piñas (heart of the agave) are slow roasted for 56 hours which is four times the industry standard. After being roasted, every Piña is crushed under a two-ton stone slowly and repeatedly for 24 hours to release all of the juices. After being mixed with the local spring water, it is double distilled for 17 hours.
