Founded in 1872, Ohishi distillery sits near the tiny village of Mizukami in Southwestern Japan. With five generations of experience, the whisky is distilled from rice and aged in Brandy casks. The rice paddies incorporate sustainable farming practices and integrated agriculture, including the use of koi fish to nibble on weeds and invasive plants while simultaneously fertilizing the water. 

This is a clean, delicate, and savory whisky with bright floral aromas and notes of freshly-cut pear and green apple.
