This bottle seems to disappear within moments of being opened. It has all the hallmarks of a great Napa Chardonnay, without any of the distractions: deep golden color, a full body, a balance of citrus and tropical flavors, warming vanilla and oak nuances, but all in balance, especially the oak. No bananarama in this wine, overpowering it all. Hands down this is one of our favorite white wines from Napa. You just can't go wrong with the Salus.
