Husband and wife team, Nick Peay and Vanessa Wong started their winery from scratch in 1996 in the remote, cool northern Sonoma Coast, just 4 miles from the Pacific. The Sonoma Coast Chardonnay strikes a beautiful balance of perfectly ripe fruit and cool climate freshness, with notes of apple, apricot, lemon & a kiss of oak. An elegant example of “new California” Chardonnay.
Peay Vineyard's Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a blend of grapes from different lots across their foggy, coastal vineyards. Creamy, but never flabby, with zesty, citrus acidity and distinct minerality. This wine tastes more Burgundian than Californian but is rich enough to stand up to creamy foods. There is a whole lot to love about this spectacular wine from a small family producer!
