Right off the bat, this wine smells amazing. Open the wine early and revisit it 4 hours later, and you'll taste intense notes of kirsch, strawberry jam, leather, rosewater, and sweet cherries. The wine is full-bodied but perfectly balanced: fruity Grenache balances out tannic Nebbiolo and well-cooked Cabernet. This is a fascinating and very well-integrated wine. Yet another excellent example of the quality you can find in Mexican wine.
