Filippo and his wife Giulia met while Filippo received his masters in agricultural entrepreneurship. They decided to find a small property in Marche, and are in the process of transforming an old farmhouse and run down winery into a beautiful home, alongside a small cantina for natural winemaking. Both Giulia and Filippo are resourceful, creating remedies and treatments for the vines using what nature gives them. They only make wines from Verdicchio, and bottling is one to write home about.
With a bright, fragrant nose and a zippy, refreshing palate, this wine offers concentrated flavors of citrus and orchard fruit (think lemon, grapefruit, apple and pear), and it would pair beautifully with takeout from the antipasti bar.
