Bertani made this wine by re-creating every possible detail of the recipe of its ground-breaking 1889 wine, which established Veronese wines worldwide. From the clonal selection of its grapes, to the processes used, the equipment, and even the rare wood in the casks and barrels, all was researched and applied. The bottles and labels are re-creations of those from the 1930's. This does raise a question: is this wine delicious because it is fascinating, or is it fascinating because it is delicious? We believe "both", but also believe that you should try some and find out for yourself!
