*7R* 2016 Mount Peak Winery "Sentinel" Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma, CA)

    7R

Creamier wines with balanced fruit, alcohol, acidity, and body. The "yummy" section.

*7R* 2016 Mount Peak Winery "Sentinel" Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma, CA)

Situated at 1,300 feet above sea level, this is a powerful yet elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. Focused aromas of blue & black fruit, fresh herbs and earth, spice, and toasty oak complement the layers and layers of dark fruit flavors on the palate. The finish is long, juicy, and just a little savory, with a meaty note on the midpalate. This is tremendous wine. Pair it with anything off the grill, hearty stews, or even pulled pork.
