The Catena Family is wine-making royalty in their native Argentina, and is largely credited with advancing the country's winemaking status on the international wine scene. Their Adrianna Vineyard is located 5,000 feet above sea-level and consists of fossil rich marine deposits. 'Mundus Bacillus Terrae' refers to the rhizobacteria micro-organisms that live in the soil and help the rootstock to absorb vital nutrients (and flavor). This is a classic Malbec for those that love the varietal, and is known for its high acidity and vibrant tannins. A very age-worthy wine from one of the best high-elevataion vineyards in the world.
