Sometimes, with Bordeaux, you just "know". This is one of those bottles. We tasted it with the team in September, and this is textbook Margaux. With a hint of vegetation on the nose, the wine has great structural components of tannin and acidity, and is starting to show some nice age. This is a classified fifth growth aged in 50% new oak, 50% "second fill" barrels, and it's a seriously well-made wine.
