This "Blanc-de-Noir" style still wine comes from the son-in-law of Giuseppe Quintarelli, father of modern Amarone. This rich, stylish wine is bright and aromatic, offering notes of apple blossom, orchard fruit, and an hint of something herbal – thyme, perhaps. On the palate, the wine is smooth, fresh, and complex, with great length. Drink this as an aperitif, or with pasta in a lemon caper wine sauce. Serve slightly below room temperature for optimal aromatic expression.
