This wine is just awesome. "Off the beaten path", certainly, but awesome. The nose is perfumed with stone fruit and minerality; the palate is rich and complex with flavors of white peach, fresh raspberries, and wet stones. Some of the juice sees barrel aging, which adds texture and richness, and the finished wine is bright and zippy with a delicious, more-ish finish.
