Varietals: Viura & Malvasia
Region: Rioja, Spain
Bodegas Ostatu is a family winery where the Sáenz de Samaniego family has been farming since the 16th century. Their Rioja Blanc comes from vines aging between 30 and 80 years at an altitude of 580 meters. Mineral driven aromas of chalk and flint are complimented by a touch of stone fruit and white flowers. The palate follows with racy acidity and refreshing flavors that mimic the nose. An incredible, value Rioja that would be excellent with a charcuterie board, sushi or grilled vegetables.
