Robert Parker used the word "gobsmacked" when describing his experience tasting this wine. Fine aromas of white stone fruit, candied pear, guava, bay leaf and slight balsamic are present on the expressive nose. The palate is lively and fresh with juicy, ripe fruit and a subtle saline note.
About The Varietal
This green-skinned grape variety originates from Galicia, situated on the northern Atlantic coast of Spain. It is most famous for being the primary grape variety in the Rias Baixas DO, where it is used to craft fresh, and often, texturally rich white wines featuring notes of peach, citrus, and minerals, making them an ideal accompaniment to the region's seafood.
Enjoy with spring vegetables, soft cheeses, or aromatic herbs and delicate spices.
