Decades after his grandmother, Catherine, dreamed of planting a vineyard on the family's Sonoma property, John Bambury decided to make her dreams a reality. What unfolded is a winery that makes world class Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays with their own fruit and from grapes sourced from the best winemaking regions in California. The Sangiacomo Vineyard Pinot Noir is particularly elegant, featuring notes of black cherries, rose petals, and clove. The palate has a backbone of supple tannins and a well-balanced acidity that lingers for a long finish.
