This is a husband and wife team based out in Sonoma who focus on crafting wines of impeccable character from California with a total production of less than 2000 cases. They don’t own any vineyards, instead choosing to build relationships with growers. The Elliot Vineyard is from dry-farmed and organic vineyards consisting of clay and shale. On the nose is grilled gazpacho and a hint of campfire. This bottle has notes of fleshy dark berry with a saltiness and graham cracker with raspberry jam. It's super tasty and very Pommard in style.
