*2P* 2023 Cantina Menegotti Chiaretto (Veneto, IT)

'Chiaretto' is derived from the Italian word 'chiaro,' translating to light or pale, indicating a pale rose style akin to those from Provence, France. This wine exemplifies the appellation excellently, offering a refreshing and elegant profile with notes of summer berries and a delicate creamy texture. Similar to Bardolino, it is crafted from a blend of traditional regional grapes, each contributing structure, freshness, and sour cherry flavors that blend seamlessly.

    About The Varietal

    Corvina

Corvina is an Italian red grape variety widely recognized for its significant role in the production of Valpolicella wines, often in partnership with Rondinella. The most notable feature of Corvina is its distinctive sour cherry flavor, along with its tendency to produce wines that are lighter in color and structure, typically displaying a bright red hue and lower tannin levels.
