Varietal: Cinsault, Obaideh, and Merwah
Region: Bekaa Valley, Lebanon
The Chateau Musar Rosé is a tribute to the 'blended' rosés of Champagne, a style loved by Musar's founder, Serge Hochar. Made from Obaideh and Merwah, grapes indigenous to Lebanon that are said to be related to Chardonnay and Semillon, make this rosé so unique. Velvety in texture with flavors of peach, pear, grapefruit, almonds and herbs, this rosé is extremely age worthy developing spicy notes in its age. If you love this bottle, get a few! It is not made every year but only when specific grape qualities are deemed 'perfect' for production.
