A very special cuvée that is only released in exceptional vintages, the 2014 Bollinger "La Grande Année" is sourced from 19 crus and is fermented exclusively in small oak barrels. This is a Champagne that is capable of ageing for many years, and is a fuller-bodied style with a dosage of 8g/L. Cherry, bergamot, lemon, and quince abound on the nose, with a slightly saline quality framing the bouquet. The texture is fine & silky with a lengthy finish showing flavors of orchard fruit and citrus.
