Fort Ross-Seaview is a relatively new AVA (American Viticultural Area) that is essentially a ridgeline within sight of the Pacific, that sits above the daily fog that sweeps the area. Vines benefit from the cool climate but still enjoy lots of sunlight. The result? "Stunning Sonoma Coast Pinot" (James Suckling), that is "taut, muscular, and lively, with bags of energy down to the long, perfumed finish" (Wine Advocate). A must-try reference point for all who love exceptional Pinot Noir!
