A fun, approachable, yet rare bottling from Burgundy - unique in that it is a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay. The Bitouzet family has roots in Volnay going back to 1802, and in fact, the family was  already winning medals as far back as 1860! This wine is fresh and juicy, showing generous berry fruit while also exhibiting elegance, soft tannin, and a subtle minerality. The vines for this wine were planted in 1953 & 1974.
