Austin Hope is the winemakers' namesake and his love letter to Paso Robles. Vibrant ruby with aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, and some subtle smokiness, this opens up lavishly in the glass. Layers of juicy dark berries and vanilla brown butter are balanced by just a touch of bright acidity and firm, agreeable tannins. This is powerful but approachable and is likely to please even the biggest Napa die-hards.
