At Hobo Wine Co., minimal intervention winemaking and a commitment to the environment is the gold standard. Wines are made without commercial yeasts or additives and only low doses of sulfur. 88% of their vineyards are biodynamically, organically, or sustainably farmed. Their Zinfandel, made up of grapes from multiple vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley, Rockpile, and Russian River, is fruit forward and structured but well balanced.

    About The Varietal

    Zinfandel

Zinfandel, affectionately known as "Zin" in the United States, is a dark-skinned red wine grape variety extensively cultivated in California. It was introduced to the Americas from Europe in the early 19th century and quickly gained popularity in both Napa and Sonoma counties, where it continues to be a prominent and successful variety today.
