At age 19, Vincent Girardin, the son of a family of winegrowers from the Santenay, decided to venture on his own and began producing wines from five acres of land inherited from his family. Soon after his start, his wines were quickly recognized by connoisseurs all over the world.
His Chassagne-Montrachet has a perfumed nose of flowers, and yellow fruit. The palate is lush with bright acid, orange peel and lemon curd. Rich in mouthfeel with a a high acid, fruity finish.
