Warmer growing regions, fully ripened grapes, extended barrel-aging add to the wine’s body
The 2021 Alvina Pernot "Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet" Grand Cru stands as a testament to the centuries-old legacy of Burgundy winemaking, offering connoisseurs a rare opportunity to savor the finest expressions of Chardonnay grapes.
The 2021 growing season was marked by ideal conditions - a mild spring followed by a warm, sunny summer allowed the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. The result is a wine that encapsulates the essence of its terroir, with a balanced acidity that will ensure its aging potential for years to come.
Due to the meticulous care and limited production of this exceptional vintage, quantities are extremely limited. Don't miss your chance to experience the epitome of Burgundian elegance.
About The Varietal
Chardonnay, possibly the most famous among white grape varieties, is frequently regarded as reaching its peak expression in its Burgundian birthplace. However, this grape has journeyed across the globe, and Chardonnay wines, ranging from outstanding to less inspiring, can now be discovered in various wine-producing regions worldwide.
Enjoy with roasted veggies with a bit of cheese or dairy! Creamed spinach, broccoli cheddar soup, or a loaded baked potato are our favs!
