This is the only US-made 20-year rye in the market. Made from a rare mash bill of 100% rye grain in copper pot stills, a "robust cut" is selected to age in newly charred American oak barrels. On the nose, this spirit is warm and spicy with notes of toffee and bright stone fruit. On the palate, the flavor is intense and well-balanced, with a luxuriously full body that explodes with caramel, clove and cinnamon. On the long finish, the whiskey offers notes of dried apricot, pepper, cantaloupe, and butterscotch.
