    About The Varietal

    Carmenere

This dark-skinned grape variety originally comes from Bordeaux, but it has discovered an especially well-suited home in Chile. It gives rise to high-quality, richly colored red wines that combine the appealing, full-bodied qualities of Merlot with the subtle herbaceous and cedar-like characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon.
