This is a delicious, bold, natural red from the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains comes from one of our new favorite Producer, who is committed to enacting agricultural change in the wine industry and helping vineyards transition to organic and sustainable viticulture. This tasty juice offers notes of guava, red plum, raspberry, and a hint of graphite on the nose.
About The Varietal
Mourvèdre, also known as Monastrell in its native Spain, Mataro in Australia and California, is a black-skinned grape variety that has been cultivated in vineyards across the western Mediterranean for centuries. Believed to have its origins in Spain, it is now widely planted throughout the Iberian Peninsula, southern France, California, and South Australia, reflecting its adaptability and global reach.
Enjoy with charred vegetables, bolognese, or a hearty clam bake.
