Situated at the intersection of Jura, Savoie, and the Rhone regions lies the petite appellation of Bugey, nestled amidst the French Alps. In the quaint hamlet of La Cueille, Catherine and Patrick Bottex craft the effervescent Bugey-Cerdon wine. The serendipitous introduction of this bottle to Kermit Lynch, the importer, occurred during an after party with Marcel Lapierre. Impressed by the taste, Lynch made the decision to import the wine. He fondly recalls a memorable moment of pairing the wine with a beach BBQ in Hawaii.
