About The Varietal
Zierfandler is a light-skinned grape variety native to Austria's Thermenregion, situated just south of Vienna. In modern times, this variety is cultivated almost exclusively in that region and is commonly blended with Rotgipfler to produce a traditional wine known as Gumpoldskirchener.
