The Bouley family can trace their winemaking lineage back to the early 14th century. Jean-Marc's son, Thomas, has been managing the Domaine since 2002 and is considered one of the most dynamic young winemakers in all of Burgundy.
This Aligoté offers a fresh, delicately fruity nose of warm pears, yellow apples and lemon curd. Notes of crushed lime, fresh herbs and underripe peach on the palate. A delicious pairing with baked brie.
About The Varietal
For over two centuries, Aligoté has been integrated into the wine culture of Burgundy, where it was traditionally planted alongside Chardonnay. Over time, it has come to occupy less prestigious locations, including plateaus and valleys, as opposed to the more valuable land reserved for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Enjoy with spring vegetables, soft cheeses, or aromatic herbs and delicate spices.
