Treixadura, also known as Trajadura, is a key grape variety found in Portugal's vibrant Vinho Verde wines. Frequently blended with other varieties such as Loureiro, Alvarinho (Albarino), and Arinto, Trajadura contributes body and alcohol to these wines. It imparts crisp, citrus characters along with notes of stone fruit and apple, enhancing the overall flavor profile of Vinho Verde wines.
