"Serralunga" is Ferdinando Principiano's entry-level Barolo, coming from a 4-hectare plot of young Nebbiolo vines planted in the Boscareto Valley in Serralunga d'Alba. This wine is fresh, juicy, extremely approachable and a fantastic food wine. The palate is full bodied with generous raspberry, rose petal and dark ripe cherry notes. The tannins are rich but the wine is soft enough to enjoy now, especially when paired with risotto, roasted meats or vegetables.
