The Rossese grape, which is native to Danila Pisano’s home in Western Liguria, gives us delicious fruit flavors of white plum, earthiness, and a cooked herbaceous quality. Rossese is a red grape variety with a mild aromatic profile, believed to have been introduced to its native region in Liguria, northern Italy, by way of the Riviera from southern France.
